These beautiful, handcrafted ornaments are made by Maral B., an embroidery artist from Aleppo, Syria.  Each handmade piece is uniquely and expertly produced with high quality white felt and embroidered on one side with red snowflake motifs.  The edges are also hand-stitched.  During Syria's 10-year war, thousands of Armenians from Syria relocated to Armenia and settled in the capital city of Yerevan, where they are engaged in a variety of creative and enterprising businesses.  Set of 3. Copyright 2024 © Homeland Development Initiative Foundation.
